It’s been tough trying to make it through January in Rochester, New York. Soon—and “soon” means late April—Spring will arrive! Only 4 billion days to go.
Here are some things I learned in January, in no particular order:
- Appreciate your body and the amazing things it can do. The best thing about being temporarily handicapped is loving the thingie you can hang on your visor so you get a good parking spot. The worst thing about being handicapped, is being handicapped.
- You should never give up on your dreams—my friend Mike didn’t give up on himself. I could write “my book,” if I just believed in myself! I don’t. But I will! I don’t know when.
- Wishing doesn’t make it true. I’m sorry to report that despite me saying, “Go, Bills” –they lost anyway. And, hey–I’m no huge fan of Taylor Swift either. It’s still CUTE. Leave it ALONE. At 34, Taylor probably has 10 good eggs left, let’s hope for the best. As far as I know, I still have one good egg left–although I wouldn’t spend it on Travis Kelce.
Happy February!
